Clyde and mommy built two houses today. Mommy designed the bottom one and Clyde directed the design on the top one -- it's for Auntie Shelley!

- We live in Idaho where my husband works on my dad's ranch. I used to be an attorney, but now I'm a mom. I also manage one of Idaho's largest private foundations on a volunteer basis. I don't miss being a lawyer, but I do miss going out to lunch with my friends! I started a blog to share our son Clyde's journey as an infant born with a cleft lip and palate. It seemed the best and easiest way to share his progress and explain to people his surgeries. He came through all of that so well and then we had Alice Gertie, so blogging morphed into our family's shared scrapbook.

I've got to say, Laura, I think I like Clyde's house better! He has the makings of a famous architect a la Dr. Seuss!
I liked his better too. No boundaries - mommy put a window here... and, voila! He made a great house.
I was going to say that too. Clyde really has an eye for architecture. It all starts with the love of a hammer, and the next thing you know...
I think that looks a lot like a house Auntie Shelley would like!
We love legos too! Gabe will play for an hour by himself building. It is so great. The kids are getting so big. I can't believe Alice/Gertie is so grown up. I haven't even seen her in real life!
