A day off...
Ben took Clyde and Alice to the ranch today. It's so quiet, I just don't know what to do. I thought about nothing, but after sleeping for an hour I got up, read about 100 pages of grant applications, vacuumed the entire house, dusted, did 3 loads of laundry, fixed a chair, picked up all the stray toys, revamped the blog (check out the labels), and now I think I'll watch a movie, try to read some more and make some flan.

Hi Laura! Lucky you getting a day off, so nice to get so much done!It was fun checking out your blog and seeing your kids, they are adorable. Clyde in the cowboy hat and hitting stuff with a hammer, typical boy. Ford and Clyde would hit it off, especially playing out back in the shop. We recently went to the zoo and I realized I was sitting on the same bench that I sit on in my front yard! Hope all is well for you and your family. Days off are always nice! If that flan is really good, you should post it on the sautee blog. I have been sorely neglecting it!
