- We live in Idaho where my husband works on my dad's ranch. I used to be an attorney, but now I'm a mom. I also manage one of Idaho's largest private foundations on a volunteer basis. I don't miss being a lawyer, but I do miss going out to lunch with my friends! I started a blog to share our son Clyde's journey as an infant born with a cleft lip and palate. It seemed the best and easiest way to share his progress and explain to people his surgeries. He came through all of that so well and then we had Alice Gertie, so blogging morphed into our family's shared scrapbook.
